values that we follow to better ourselves as a brand and so we can do better
and be a successful company with good ethics. As we work with our clients we
want to be humble, we want to have passion for what we doing and also install
passion in our workers, we want to create great relationships with our clients
so we have a mutual understanding and our business could work well. We want to
be open minded about new ideas and be creative and be different, and perform
the greatest service throughout.
Our mission statement as
Aura is to work with alcohol companies and formulate well trained and
well-groomed promoters and bar tenders that will create great awareness for the
brand as well as teach the promoters and develop them as young people. Our
mission is also to unify the work place in order to show solidarity.
We work to create a
better future every day, to help people feel good look good and get more out of
life with brands and services. We also
want to inspire our young workers to take small actions every day that could
add up to a big difference in the world.
We want to develop new
ways of business with the aim doubling the size of the company and growing and

that Aura Promotions offers.
Aura Promotions is
an innovative promotions company. Established by Bongeka Mshengu and Lumkokazi Makhasi. We are a Durban based
company. What we do as a company is a little different from other promotion
companies. We work with alcohol companies that sponsor alcohol to Big Durban
events such as Goodsundae, Run DBN, etc. The company that we working with now
are one of our big clients. They are Miller; Miller comes to us to get
promoters to promote their brand at these events. They also look for bartenders
at the side on their own, so what Aura promotions does is we get promoters for
them that fit their description list and we train them to be bartend as well at
these big events that Miller sponsor the alcohol too. We groom them by teaching
them basic impressive skills bartending skills and as well as how to promote
how to speak how to act and how to present yourself. The workers then sign a
contract that states how long they going to be working for us and what the
salary wedge is etc.
So we as a brand
work with companies that sponsor alcohol at events and we get them our finest
promoters that we train to be bartenders for them at the events and promote
their brand.
Why have we selected this service.
We have selected
this service and made it to our brand because we saw a gap in the market when
it comes to trained bartenders at these
big hip hop events. Our idea to join the promoters and the trained bartenders
seems to work out well for the companies that sponser the alcohol because now they come to our company and get a full
package which is well groomed promoters/bartenders. In that way the
companies are not going around looking
for bartenders that are aren’t trained and have no idea of what they doing that
puts the companies in a lot of stress, when Aura Promotions is the easy way
out.

Miller’s unique process of 4X Cold-Filtration, produces a unique, premium
beer – a beautiful golden lager with incredible smoothness and refreshment.
MGD is packaged in a distinctive clear glass bottle – a break from
conventional green or brown bottles.

Miller then failed by having too
many Miller brands, they extended the brand too far which ultimately confused
consumers. This distracted in a way that customers mixed up the different
beverages available.
We chose Miller because we feel
they understand and take pride in being able to create social and fun
atmospheres for their customers. By working with them, we would achieve a lot
of exposure as a company and could therefore acquire a lot more clients.
Miller has a good brand image and
are associated with a lot of vibrant and fun events. Aura would help Miller
keep this image as we aim to promote their beverages in fun, innovative,
interactive and professional manner all while creating an experience customers
would enjoy.
